West Indies beat England to win the Third T20.

In an ongoing 5 match, T20 series West Indies and England played two matches against each other. Till now West Indies and England both won one game each. The series is levelled now at 1-1.

In the 3rd T20 match at Kensington, Barbados. England won the toss and elected to bowl first. England was without Eoin Morgan as he was injured. Moen Ali was stand-in captain for England. England had three new debutants.

England’s bowler Garton took the 1st wicket of Brandon King. West Indies scored 48 runs at a loss of 2 wickets by 6th over. Nicholas Pooran and Rovan Powell smashed 122 runs for the third wicket. Nicholas Pooran scored 70 runs from 43 balls before getting out to Adil Rashid.

Rovman Powell scored 107 runs from just 53 balls. Rovman Powell hit 10 sixes. There have been only six batters in the history of T20 who have hit more sixes in an innings than Powell. Afghanistan’s Hazratullah Zazai holds the record for most sixes in a T20 inning. Against Ireland, he hit 16 sixes. After Chris Gayle and Evin Lewis, Powell is the third West Indian cricketer to score a century in a Twenty20I after reaching the three-figure mark off 51 deliveries. West Indies posted a total of 224 runs at a loss of 5 wickets.

In reply England opener Tom Banton scored 73 runs from 39 and T20 Debutant Phil Salt scored 57 runs from 24 balls. England managed to score 204 runs at a loss of 9 wickets. Romario Shepherd took 3 wickets while the West Indies captain Kieron Pollard took two wickets to get a win over England.

The West Indies defeated England by 20 runs in a high-scoring third T20I to take a 2-1 lead in the series. With the final two games to be played on Saturday and Sunday.
