Top Australian players to opt out from Pakistan tour
Few Australian players will pull out of the white-ball series against Pakistan to participate in IPL 2022 from beginning.Australian players participating in IPL 2022 will only be available from 6th April whether they’re part of white ball tour to Pakistan or not. As per their policy, contracted players aren’t allowed to play other games when the national team is in action.
players out of Pak tour won’t be available till 5th April, they’ll undergo quarantine meantime to be available from 6th. rest players will undergo quarantine from 6th April before joining their IPL teams.
“None of the contracted players will be available for the IPL before April 6, whether they are playing in the white-ball series (vs Pakistan) or not,” a spokesman for the CA told Cricbuzz on Monday. Australia play three ODIs and one T20I in Pakistan from March 29 to April 5, after a three-Test series ending on March 25.
