Rajasthan Royals paid INR 10 crores for Prasidh Krishna.

Krishna made his IPL debut in the 2018 season when he was selected by the Kolkata Knight Riders. During the season, he appeared in seven games and took ten wickets.

Led by a strong showing in his debut season, Kolkata Knight Riders signed him for the following season as well. However, the right-arm pacer was ineffective the following season. In 11 games, he only took four wickets. His poor form continued the following season when he took only four wickets in six games.

However, Prasidh Krishna delivered a better performance in IPL 2021. He took 12 wickets at an average of 29.25 in 10 matches. So far in 34 IPL games, the right-arm pacer has taken 30 wickets. In recent years, he has also appeared in a few international games. Kolkata Knight Riders released him from the squad ahead of the IPL 2022 auction

Prasidh Krishna had previously set a base price of Rs. 1 crore for himself in the IPL 2022 auction. Last season, the right-arm pacer was a member of the Kolkata Knight Riders.

The Gujarat Titans, Lucknow Super Giants, and Rajasthan Royals all engaged in bidding wars to sign the player. During the IPL 2022 auction, Rajasthan Royals selected Prasidh Krishna. The player was added to the team for a fee of Rs. 10 crores
