KL Rahul Reflects on Overcoming Injuries, Doubts, & Mentoring Jaiswal
Deepak Chahar was bought back by CSK for Rs 14 crore.
Deepak Chahar, an all-rounder, was purchased by the Chennai Super Kings for a whopping Rs 14 crore at the IPL auction in Bengaluru on Saturday, February 12th.
Deepak Chahar, one of India’s most potential white-ball bowling all-rounders, has spent the last four years with the Chennai Super Kings, where he has developed into an integral component of the team throughout the seasons.
Chahar has 59 wickets in 63 games while wearing the yellow of CSK since 2018. Deepak is a traditional swing bowler from Uttar Pradesh who can also bat. MS Dhoni, the captain of Chennai Super Kings, has shrewdly employed him with the new ball throughout the years, typically bowling three of his overs in the Powerplay. Chahar, on the other hand, continued to improve his other talents and, by the end of the game, had developed into a good bowler. He has played for India in T20s and ODIs but has yet to be selected for red-ball cricket, despite scoring two fifties in the 50-over format.
Deepak proposed to his girlfriend in the stands during CSK’s game against KKR last season. He also posted a video of the incident to Instagram with the comment “Special moment.”
