India all-rounder Hardik Pandya showed his gratitude for Mumbai Indians (MI) an Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise after he was released by the five-time winners onward of the IPL 2022 huge auction.
Mumbai Indian captain Rohit Sharma, Kieron Pollard, Jasprit Bumrah, and Suryakumar Yadav are the four top mumbai players who are retained. Hardik has been a one of the most valuable part of the franchise since the 2015, following which he went on to be a part of Indian team.
Pandya, who has solely played for MI in his IPL profession, has participated in 80 IPL matches, knocking 1349 runs and striking up 42 wickets. Pandya performed a principal role MI’s IPL victory in 2019 and 2020. Two years ago, Pandya knocked 402 runs and scalped 14 wickets and added in his tally.
As Pandya was freed from the Mumbai Indians, he posted an heartfelt post on his experience at the franchise. Pandya is a four-time IPL winner with Mumbai Indians, winning the tournament in 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020. Taking to Instagram, the 28-year-old all-rounder post on Thursday, honoring all his memories and the moment filled with the franchise.
“I’ll carry these memories with me for the rest of my life, I’ll carry these moments with me for the rest of my life. The friendships I’ve made, the bonds that have been formed, the people, the fans, I’ll always be grateful. I’ve grown not just as a player but as a person. I came here as a youngster with big dreams – we won together, we lost together, we fought together. Every moment with this team has a special place in my heart. They say all good things must end but @mumbaiindians will remain in my heart forever,” Hardik captioned.
Accompanying with Hardik, his elder brother Krunal Pandya was also freed by the franchise.
