Gujarat Titans are the new champions of the TATA IPL 2022. They defeated Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets in their journey to the Final. They won their maiden IPL title in their inaugural season at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
Gujarat Titans finished at the top of the IPL table, with a total of 20 points accumulated. Hardik Pandya’s side has won 10 matches and lost 4 on their way. They have flamboyant coordination and cooperation throughout the IPL, despite the fact that not many counted them as title contenders. Their batting sensations Subhman Gill, and David Miller stood upfront and the bowling department was controlled by Rashid Khan and Mohammed Shami. Skipper Hardik Pandya led from the front both with his batting and bowling.

India PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah attended the match including many other VVIPs too. A lot of security personnel were deployed at the venue. Bollywood stars AR Rahman and Neeti Mohan performed on the stage.

After defeating Rajsthan in Qualifier 1, they again defeated them in the finals. This shows how much dominance they have shown in this season’s IPL despite the fact that both the Orange cap and Purple cap are owned by the Rajasthan players. Gujarat Titans clearly had a very successful season as a team.
