Watch Virat Kohli’s reaction on getting dismissed vs England

Virat Kohli’s run of form continues as yet again he failed to get a big score. This time, he is dismissed by Matty Potts for 11 runs.

The former Indian captain was welcomed to the crease by a few words from the English fielders.

Unfortunately, his stay at the crease was short lived. He could manage to muster up just 11 runs before he was out bowled. The ball bounced more than Kohli expected and hit the inside edge of the bat, before crashing into the stumps.

Another unfortunate dismissal for Virat, who has been getting out in unusual ways since the start of Tata IPL 2022.

England won the toss and decided to bowl first. James Anderson was on song once again, getting rid of Shubman Gill for 17. Cheteshwar Pujara was dismissed just before rain started and stopped play for a period of time.

After the stoppage, India lost 3 quick wickets in Virat Kohli, Hanuma Vihari and Shreyas Iyer. But, Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja stepped up big time. Pant played an ultra aggressive innings as currently, he is 134* off just 104 balls. Jadeja on the other hand is 56* off 129.

India are 299/5 after 63 overs on Day 1.
