Kolkata Knight Riders withdrew from the bidding war several times before finally submitting the winning bid of Rs 12.25 crore. Shreyas Iyer is expected to lead the Kolkata Knight Riders, who have kept Andre Russell, Venkatesh Iyer, Sunil Narine, and Venkatesh Iyer.

Devdutt Padikkal: – In 2019 RCB bought Devdutt Padikkal for Rs 20. Lakhs. He did not play a single game in 2019. In the IPL 2020 season, RCB introduced Devdutt Padikkal as an opener. He was in excellent form throughout the event, blasting five half-centuries. He hit.473 in 15 games, averaging 31.53 runs per game, and finished the season as the team’s leading hitter.
