Jasprit Bumrah’s Workload Debate: Balwinder Singh Sandhu Criticizes Modern “Workload
SunRisers Hyderabad has introduced a new jersey in front of the IPL 2022 mega auction.
SunRisers Hyderabad will try to reverse their fortunes in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 as they seek their second crown, this time in a new jersey. SRH went to social media on Wednesday to provide a first peek at their revamped jersey.
“Here’s our new jersey. The #OrangeArmour is designed for the #OrangeArmy “SRH sent a tweet. SunRisers Hyderabad’s jersey remains orange and black, although the new style is crisper than the previous years. To correspond with the basic orange bottom gear, the uniform includes orange dots dispersed over black sleeves; the neck and collar are pure black.
Former West Indies captain Brian Lara has been chosen as the batting coach of the SRH side and will also be a strategic adviser for the 2016 winners, while ex-South Africa bowler Dale Steyn will be their fast-bowling coach for the 2018 season.
Former India batsman Heman Badani has been appointed as SRH’s fielding coach and scout, while ex-Australian opener Simon Katich has been appointed as the team’s assistant coach. All the new support staff members will report to head coach Tom Moody, while Muttiah Muralitharan will continue to serve as strategy and spin bowling coach.
SRH has let go of Australian opener David Warner, Afghanistan’s ace-spinner Rashid Khan, and Indian fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar, all of whom were essential to their 2016 title run, in what appears to be a bid to rebuild the group following their poor 2021 season.
SRH finished with just six points after losing 11 of 14 games and ending at the bottom of the standings. Warner, who led them to their lone IPL triumph in 2016 and is one of the tournament’s all-time leading run scorers, was summarily sacked from leadership and, finally, the team itself last season after posting some poor totals.
