Shreyas Iyer in IPL Mega Auction 2022

Former Delhi Capitals captain Shreyas Iyer is headed to the mega auction. Pant was selected by
Delhi Capitals to lead their team in the IPL over Shreyas Iyer.
RCB is interested in Indian limited-overs batsman Shreyas Iyer for the role of captain, and he
guided Delhi Capitals to their maiden IPL title in the 2020 edition. The Royal Challengers
Bangalore will have a new captain for the 15th season of the IPL. Virat Kohli will step down as
RCB captain. RCB is seeking a new captain. Iyer could be a candidate to replace Kohli. This is
seen as an opportunity for Iyer. He is on the radar of both Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and
Punjab Kings (PBKS) are interested in signing him.
The mega auction will take place in Bengaluru on February 12 & 13.
