Rohit Sharma Dropped? Gambhir, Bumrah in Intense Discussion Ahead of Sydney Test

India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir and vice-captain Jasprit Bumrah were seen having a lengthy discussion during a net session at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) ahead of the fifth and final Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy . This has fueled speculation about potential changes to the Indian playing XI, particularly regarding captain Rohit Sharma’s position in the team . Gambhir refused to confirm whether Sharma would play in the Sydney Test, leading to reports that the out-of-form skipper might be dropped . If this happens, Rohit would become the first Indian captain to be dropped due to poor form .  

Adding to the intrigue, Gambhir was also seen having a separate conversation with chief selector Ajit Agarkar, further suggesting that significant changes to the team might be in the offing .
