Ranji Trophy : Aparajith and Sai Sudharsan tally up the runs– How much would you believe if we tell you that it’s Sai Sudharshan’s Debut match in Ranji Trophy?
Yes, Sai had cracked an impressive century and scored 179 runs from 273 balls which for a debut performance is definitely a great attempt. These 179 runs includes 1 six and 18 boundaries. He has a lot of confidence over his games and has been setting benchmarks ever since.
Sai Sudharshan‘s Game :
After the dismissal of the wicket-keeping batter Narayan Jagadeesan by Karthikeya Kak, Sai Sudharsan, kept fixed at one end. He scored 48 runs off 96 balls while maintaining caution, hitting three fours and one six.
It was possibly a reflection of the mission handed to him, which was to fend off Hyderabad’s bowlers.
When Sudharsan was composed to score a double century, he couldn’t resist playing a shot on left-arm spinner Tanay Thyagarajan’s off-stump and ended in being caught behind.
After the dismissal of Sai Sudharshan, it was Baba Aparajith turn to create records. As always, Aparajith knew what he was going to do and they way he handled the bowlers was an ecstatic to watch.
Catches win Matches:
This might sound familiar to the fans of cricket. Baba Aparajith who was at 92, was fortunate enough to have his catch dropped by Aniketh Reddy near the deep mid wicket fence.
As means to validate this statement, Aparajith then went on to score a brilliant 115 runs out of 165 balls where he hit 11 boundaries and 3 sixes.

Skipper Baba Indrajith scored 48 runs from 52 balls which comprised of 5 super boundaries.After he was run out, Tamil Nadu declared the innings.

Centuries from the players helped Tamil Nadu to reach 510 for 4 and the innings was declared by the Team.
