Spain had a good tournament last year. They reached the semi-finals, only then losing it to France. This year they will surely be looking to win it. Spain defender Aymeric Laporte and midfielder Pedri will remain absent from the match due to injuries. David De Gea will also remain absent.
As for Portugal, only Ruben Dias will be absent due to injury. Portugal will be looking to keep their regular starting XI with Ronaldo leading the line in his 187th appearance.

It is really going to be a match of close margins. Portugal will be looking to sit back and attack on a counter as Fernando Santos will have the quality of Bruno Fernandez and Bernardo Silva with Ronaldo’s prolific finishing, whereas, Spain will be looking to dominate possession. It will be a high tactical battle, but given Portugal’s ability, they might have the edge over Spain.
