KL Rahul Reflects on Overcoming Injuries, Doubts, & Mentoring Jaiswal
Lucknow Super Giants prepared a strong playing XI on the very first day.
The new IPL side Lucknow Super Giants strengthened its position by bidding up the competition on the opening day of the player auction. For Saturday, this Lucknow-based team bid on eight players in the IPL auction. Quinton de Kock, the wicket-keeper batsman, all-rounder Deepak Hooda, Jason Holder, and quick bowler Avesh Khan are among them. Before the auction, this club had already added KL Rahul, Marcus Stoinis, and Ravi Bishnoi.
The team consists of 11 players in total. The amazing part is that this squad of 11 guys is so powerful that they can make any IPL team their nose and gram. The squad still has Rs 6.90 crore in their bank account.
Lucknow Super Giants is an RP-Sanjeev Goenka Group team. In 2016 and 2017, this group established a squad called Rising Pune Super Giants. This experience may have helped him in the IPL Auction 2022 on Saturday. By having Quinton De Kock in their line-up, the Lucknow franchise won the auction. A good start is transformed into a high score, much as in cricket. In the same manner, the Lucknow Super Giants bid farther.
Manish Pandey, Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya, Jason Holder, Avesh Khan, Mark Wood, and Ankit Rajput were later added to the Lucknow Super Giants squad. He placed the largest wager on Avesh Khan, an Indian fast bowler (10 crores). Jason Holder was the team’s second-most costly player (8.75 crores). The club bid 8.25 crores for Indian all-rounder Krunal Pandya. England fast bowler Mark Wood (7.50 crores) also received a hefty sum.
Quinton de Kock, contrary to popular belief, obtained it at a modest cost. Quinton’s bid of 6.75 crores was sufficient. Deepak Hooda (5.75 crores), who recently joined Team India, also received it at a cheaper price than projected. To be a part of the squad, Manish Pandey had to bid for Rs 4.60 crore. By paying 50 lakhs, the Lucknow Super Giants secured the services of Indian bowler Ankit Rajput.
Cricket fans are aware that the Lucknow Super Giants drafted three players: KL Rahul, Marcus Stoinis, and Ravi Bishnoi. The team’s captain is KL Rahul.
KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock (both openers), Manish Pandey and Deepak Hooda (both middle-order batsmen), Marcus Stoinis, Krunal Pandya, Jason Holder (3 all-rounders), Avesh Khan, Mark Wood, Ankit Rajput (3 fast bowlers), and Ravi Bishnoi (specialist spinner) are the current playing XI
