Juventus sign Dusan Vlahovic for €75 Million from Fiorentina
Italian club Juventus have made an agreement to sign Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic on a permanent deal for a transfer fee of €75 Million. The 21-year-old Serbian striker had been on many club’s radar during this transfer window but the Italian giants managed to get his signature in the end. After the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo last year, Juventus were missing that source of goals which has been reflected in their league performances as well. The club is currently 5th on the Serie A standings after 23 games played and would need an instant impact from their new signing to help in the club’s future ambitions.
Vlahovic has already scored 17 goals in 21 appearances in the league this year and is the joint top scorer of the league with Lazio’s Ciro Immobile. Fiorentina is now looking to replace their talented striker and wants to sign Brazilian striker Arthur Cabral from Basel on a permanent deal. The club are looking to let another talented squad player leave in January as Tottenham is eyeing a move for Sofyan Amrabat only if they are able to make a deal for their midfielder Tanguy Ndombele with PSG. Time is of the essence this time as the transfer window closes in just 4 days and it could well prove to be a hectic period for the clubs involved.
Meanwhile, Scottish club Rangers have signed Manchester United’s Amad Diallo on loan for the rest of the season after the move was approved by Ralf Rangnick. The young Ivorian will be looking forward to getting some valuable game time during his spell and coming back to its parent club in the summer. Rangers coach Giovanni Van Bronckhorst was delighted with the signing and said “He is a player who I have been aware of for some time, and when the opportunity to sign him came up, we were very keen to make it happen”
