IPL 2022: DC eye a win against MI in the new IPL season
IPL 2022: Delhi Capitals take on Mumbai Indians in their first match of the TATA IPL season.
IPL 2022: Delhi Capitals under the leadership of Rishab Pant would like to get a win against record champions Mumbai Indians when the two meet on 27th March.
Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians both, did fairly well at the Tata IPL Mega Auction last month.
Mumbai bolstered their bowling attack by adding Jofra Archer, Tymal Mills, Riley Meredith, Daniel Sams and Jaydev Unadkat.
But, they won’t get the services of Jofra Archer for this season as the bowler is still nursing an elbow injury.
Injury update
David Warner and Mitchell Marsh, who are representing Australia against Pakistan would miss the match. Anrich Nortje will miss a few matches but, Delhi are confident that they will have the services of Nortje available at some time during the IPL. The fast bowler was retained by DC for INR 6.5 crore.
As for Mumbai Indians, Suryakumar Yadav and Jofra Archer would be absent.

Pitch Report
Expect a pitch that is favorable to the batsman but with something in it for the bowlers. The avg score at Brabourne is 167 so expect a high scoring contest between the two heavyweights.
Dew might not come in to play a lot as it is an afternoon game.
