Jasprit Bumrah’s Workload Debate: Balwinder Singh Sandhu Criticizes Modern “Workload

Ashish Nehra has picked India’s pace attack for the ICC T20 World Cup 2022.
The Indian cricket team has begun its search for players who might be part of the squad for the T20 World Cup 2022, which will be held in Australia at the end of this year. A lot of players have established a place for themselves in the fast-bowling lineup.
In terms of fast bowlers, Ashish Nehra, who has been providing his thoughts on the Indian cricket team’s day-to-day operations, has chosen the quartet he believes should be given the nod. Surprisingly, Harshal Patel and Avesh Khan of the Indian Premier League (IPL) were not included in Nehra’s list.
“The World Cup is a long way off. There is just one-speed bowler from this team who will make the World Cup roster if it is revealed tomorrow, and that is Siraj. Siraj, Bumrah, Shami, and Prasidh Krishna would be my World Cup picks. We’ve seen what he’s capable of, and Deepak Chahar follows these four “Cricbuzz spoke with Nehra.
In the current series against the West Indies, India’s speed options include Mohammed Siraj, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Deepak Chahar, Shardul Thakur, Harshal Patel, and Avesh Khan. The series has been called off for Bumrah and Shami.
Nehra also praised skipper Rohit Sharma for sticking by veteran seamer Bhuvneshwar Kumar, despite his recent struggles with form.
“It’s encouraging to see Rohit Sharma supporting Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who has a wealth of expertise. So, whether or not to make a change in the starting XI is irrelevant.”
Former India wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel also spoke out over the team’s pace-bowling dilemma. He advised trying one of Mohammed Siraj or Avesh Khan instead of Deepak Chahar or Bhuvneshwar Kumar because they have similar skill sets.
“I believe one or two changes are possible. Bowlers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Deepak Chahar have similar styles. So, for a change of pace, try playing either Siraj or Avesh Khan. So, because we’re already looking for the ideal World Cup combo, this may be tried out “Parthiv remarked.
