The 26 year old Hyderabad FC player had an ISL final of his dreams as he managed to lift his maiden ISL trophy along with a goal in the final to his name.
Hyderabad FC was struggling to find the equalizer after being a goal down in the final of the Hero Indian Super League 2021-22 against the Kerala Blasters FC. All the fans and the team players were counting on the regular goalscorers of the team to get them a breakthrough in the match. At that very moment, the Hyderabad team get a corner which wis cleared away only for the ball to go blazing into the left top corner as an unexpected goalscorer comes forward with a picturesque volley to make it 1-1. Sahil Tavora was the man of the moment who revived the team’s hopes back up.

Sahil Tavora experienced something similar. Not only did his 88th-minute strike from the edge of the box equalise the score, but it also led to Hyderabad FC’s first Hero ISL triumph.
“I think it was a great moment. I was aware that the clock was ticking and it fell perfectly to me and I struck it and thankfully I connected well, and it was a great goal”

After some trophy less spells with FC Goa and Mumbai City FC, Sahil Tavora has now finally got his hands on the Hero ISL trophy and he could not control his emotions.
”It means everything. We worked so hard for this. It’s something I dreamed up for sure. To get a goal in the final as well and to win it like this is a dream come true. God has a plan for you, it is incredible.”
