Hyderabad FC are champions of the Hero ISL 2021. They overcame a stiff challenge by Kerala Blasters to go on and win their maiden title.

After an intensely fought 90 minutes, the game moved into extra time.
Still, nothing could separate the two teams as a penalty shootout beckoned.

Score after Full time:

Rahul Kannoly Praveen scored for the Kerala Blasters but in the 88th minute, Sahil Tavora scored from a long range strike to bring Hyderabad on level terms.

The match score after normal time was 1-1. Neither team could add to the score in extra time.

Penalties

Laxmikant Kattimani starred as he saved penalties from Jeakson Singh, Nishu Kumar and Marko Leskovic to help his team win their first ISL title.

Kerala Blasters on the other hand lost their 3rd ISL final, having been on the losing side in 2014 and 2016.

Manuel Marquez’s side was one of the best teams in the group stages and have deservingly gone on to be crowned champions.
