Delhi Hurricanes Celebrated Christmas Rugby Tournament

Delhi Hurricanes RFC, the best club of India celebrated their annual Christmas 🎄 Touch Rugby tournament today at the Home of Hurricanes, Vasant Kunj. 25 teams and more than 200 players of different age groups participated in the tournament. More teams were interested but due to covid time club decided to keep it small and short. Great atmosphere, great crowd and great celebration with some great rugby and matches. Players gave some great dance performance after all the games. Mrs. Deepti Baluni graced the occasion as a chief guest while recent national senior men’s and women’s winners (Gold and Bronze medal respectively) were there to inspire young Hurricanes players. President, Arun of Delhi Hurricanes RFC managed the event very well while Priya presented the event very well.

2. U-12 Boys – 6 teams

3rd place- Hurricanes ‘E’

3. U-14 boys- 7 teams

Winners- Hurricanes Earth ‘Lions’
Runner up- Hurricanes ‘Panther’
3rd place- Hurricanes Leopards

4. U-14 Girls – 3 teams

Winners- Hurricanes ‘B’
Runner up- Hurricanes ‘A’
3rd place- Hurricanes ‘C’

5. U-16 Girls – 2 teams
   Winners- Earth Foundation
   Runner up- Hasanpur
6. U-17 boys – 3 teams

Winners- Hurricanes ‘Hunters’
Runner up- Hurricanes ‘B’
3rd place- Hasanpur

Winners of recently held National 7s tournament were also facilitated.
