David Warner laughs off Pakistan bowler’s sledging attempt
As Pakistan and Australia take on each other in the Test cricket format, a lot of interactions have been observed between both sets of players as well as between the player and the fans. In one such incident, Australia’s 35-year-old batter David Warner was caught chatting with Pakistan’s young bowler Naseem Shah who was trying to rile up the Aussie batsman as he beat him with an out of the blue short ball during his spell. If it was for the old and aggressive David Warner, then Naseem Shah would’ve surely got a piece of the Australian.
However, this wasn’t the case as David Warner reacted to the sledging attempt with a great smile and laughed it off at that very moment. The next ball was eventful as well when Warner hit the ball right in the path of Naseem who wasn’t over with the sledging yet. This time round he was patted on the shoulder by David Warner and got his lesson that it will take more than that to rile up the 35-year-old veteran.
Warner also had some interactions with Shaheen Afridi where both the players complimented their batting and bowling skills in a friendly manner. Australia had a strong start to their innings as both David Warner and Usman Khawaja added 156 runs for the first wicket partnership as they attempted to reduce Pakistan’s lead after they made 476/4d in the previous innings. David Warner was eventually the first wicket for Pakistan as he went after making 64 runs on 114 balls.
