Jasprit Bumrah’s Workload Debate: Balwinder Singh Sandhu Criticizes Modern “Workload

CSK player tweets about his retirement, then deletes it
Chennai Super Kings(CSK) player Ambati Rayudu announces his retirement on twitter then hastily deletes the tweet.
In a strange turn of events, CSK’ Ambati Rayudu tweets stating that the Tata IPL 2022 will be the last IPL that he takes part in and then deletes the tweet.
“I am happy to announce that this will be my last IPL. I have had a wonderful time playing it and being a part of 2 great teams for 13 years,” tweeted Rayudu.
“Would love to sincerely thank Mumbai Indians and CSK for the wonderful journey.”
This is not the first time that Rayudu has done something weird like this. In 2019, Rayudu tweeted that he is retiring from cricket.
But, later he came back to play for the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL.
The CSK middle order not unlike his teammates, has not had the best of the IPL seasons.
Rayudu has managed to score just 271 runs in 12 innings for the defending champions. He averages just 27.10 but, has a high score of 78 this season.

He has scored these runs at a decent strike rate of 124.31.
Chennai Super Kings were beaten comfortably by Mumbai Indians on 12th May. This defeat meant their title defense came to an end as it is mathematically not possible for CSK to qualify for the playoffs.

CSK have won just 4 off their 12 matches. Current they are placed at the 9th position in the IPL Standings, 1 above record champions Mumbai Indians.
Ambati Rayudu led India to the U-19 World Cup alongside top players like Irfan Pathan, Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina, RP Singh, Robin Uthappa etc.
Reacting to the tweet posted by Rayudu, former teammate Irfan Pathan tweeted
“Played cricket with you since our u-19 days. Always admire your batting and the energy you give on the field. Wish you well for your journey ahead brother. You have done very well and should be proud of your achievement @RayuduAmbati.”
In the aftermath of these incidents, Rayudu posted another tweet, having a sly dig at Virat Kohli and Ravi Shastri.
In 2018, Rayudu managed to claw his way back into the Indian team, after clearing the yo-yo test on the 2nd attempt.
But, for the World Cup, India decided to choose Vijay Shankar over the consistent Ambati Rayudu. This enraged him and the cricketer acted out by taunting Vijay Shankar, who was labelled a “Three-dimensional cricketer”
As a result, Rayudu tweeted “Just ordered a new set of 3D glasses to watch the world cup”.
According to the latest reports, Rayudu is not retiring and will be a part of CSK for the forthcoming seasons.
