Cricket West Indies (CWI) announced ODI squad series against India
West Indies is all set to visit India for the ODI and the T20 series. West Indies have announced the ODI 15 members ODI squad for the upcoming series against India. The three-match ODI series will be played in Ahmedabad at Narendra Modi Stadium. The three-match ODI series will be a part of the ICC World Cup Super League.
While the T20 series will be played in Kolkata at Eden Gardens Stadium. The T20 squad will be expected by Friday. Kieron Pollard will lead the West Indies team for the ODI and the T20 both.
The most experienced fast bowler Kemar Roach has been recalled by the West Indies for the ODI series against India. Kemar Roach played 92 ODIs for West Indies. He has taken 124 wickets for the West Indies. Roach played his last ODI game for the West Indies in August 2019.
Roston Chase Justin Greaves who featured in the ODI series against Ireland have been dropped by the West Indies. Brandon King and Nkrumah Bonner have replaced them both. Brandon King had played only four ODI matches till now. In January 2021, the last time Nkrumah Bonner played for West Indies was in Bangladesh. Bonner has played three ODI matches so far.
