Bangladesh U19 to face India U19 in the quarter final of ICC u19 World Cup.

In the Ongoing U19 World Cup 2022 eight teams have qualified for the quarter final. Bangladesh team has been qualified for the next round by beating UAE by nine wickets. While India has registered a big win against Uganda.  The finalist of U19 world cup 2020 will face each other in the quarterfinal of U19 world Cup 2022. In the Final of U19 world Cup 2022 Bangladesh won by 3 wickets. In the final, Bangladesh sent India to bat first. India managed to score 177 runs.

In response to the Indians’ score, Bangladesh responded quickly, losing only one wicket and scoring 55 runs in the first ten overs. Ravi Bishnoi, an Indian leg spinner, took four wickets. Bangladesh needed only 15 runs to win after 41 overs. But then the rain came, and the game was cut to 46 overs. Bangladesh needed only seven runs from 30 balls with a revised target based on the DLS method.

Yashasvi Jaiswal has been named tournament player of the U19 World Cup 2020. He finishes the tournament as the tournament’s leading scorer, with 400 runs.

India has won four U19 World Cups so far (2000,2008,2012,2018). Bangladesh has only won one U19 World Cup (2020).
