Yuvraj Singh Turns 41 Today : Yuvraj Singh also known as Yuvi, is a former Indian international cricketer who had played in all formats of the game.

One of legendary all-arounder of India, Yuvraj Singh has accumulated 8701 runs and 1177 runs, respectively, while representing 304 ODIs and 58 T20Is for the Indian team.
At the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup, Yuvraj had a dream run, scoring 362 runs, with one century and four fifties, taking 15 wickets, winning four Man of the Match awards—tied for the most with Aravinda de Silva of Sri Lanka in 1996, Lance Klusener of South Africa in 1999, and fellow countryman Rohit Sharma of India in 2019—and being named Player of the Tournament.
Given that Yuvraj went on to hit his greatest ODI total—150 against England in 2017—this could be regarded as one of his best ODI innings. Additionally, because he was mounting a comeback, his performance in this inning was crucial.
Unknown Facts:
Initially, Yuvi had a strong passion for tennis and roller skating. He even took first place in the U.S. National U-14 Roller Skating Championship. He wanted to pursue both sports. But when his father saw how talented he was at cricket, he told him to concentrate entirely on that.
Yuvi had been in a few movies when he was younger. Despite having a handsome screen presence, he claimed that his acting talent were insufficient.
Yuvraj represented Yorkshire in county cricket. He is one of a select group of renowned Indians who have participated in the county circuit, although Sachin Tendulkar and he are the only other Indian cricketers to have ever represented Yorkshire. In addition, he is the first Indian all-rounder who has ever represented the team.
Everyone is aware that Yuvraj struggled with lung cancer in 2011. He put up a valiant fight against the illness and triumphantly returned to the sport. Soon after, he founded his charity “YouWeCan” instigated by it.
Number 12 and Yuvraj :
Throughout his entire career, Yuvraj wore the number 12 jersey. Given that he was born on December 12—the 12th day of the year—it is not surprising. Notably, he was born precisely at 12pm.
But something which a WOW factor is the fact that, he was born in a hospital in Chandigarh’s Sector 12!
Retirement :
On June 10, 2019, the legendary all-rounder called the curtains on his impressive career.
