Your fight against cancer will always be an inspiration to others: Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli reacted to Yuvraj Singh’s handwritten touching message on Wednesday, saying that the former all-return rounders from cancer would always be an inspiration and thanking his “Yuvi pa” for the beautiful gesture. Kohli rushed to social media to share a photo of the sneaker as well as Yuvraj’s handwritten letter, as well as a special post.

I am sincerely grateful for your beautiful deed, Yuvi Pa. It means a lot coming from someone who has witnessed my profession from the beginning. Your life and recovery from cancer have been, are, and will always be an example to people from all walks of life, not just cricket. I’ve always known you for who you are, and you’ve always been generous and loving to everyone around you. Now that we’re both parents, we realise what a blessing it is. In your new adventure, I wish you happiness, great memories, and blessings. Yuvi Pa, may God bless you. rakha rab, “Kohli penned the piece.

Notably, Yuvraj Singh sent a touching letter to ex-captain Virat Kohli on Tuesday, commemorating the Delhi batter’s rise from a teenager to one of the game’s all-time greats.

To the little boy from Delhi @imvkohli. I’d want to dedicate this sneaker to you in honour of your career and time as captain, which has provided joy to millions of fans worldwide. I hope you stay the way you are, play the way you do, and continue to make your country proud “Yuvraj Singh took to Twitter.

I’ve seen you grow as a cricketer and as a person, Virat.” You’ve gone from being a young boy in the nets who would walk shoulder-to-shoulder with Indian cricket legends to creating a legacy of your own. Your discipline, passion, and dedication to the game inspire every young kid in this country to pick up a bat and dream of one day donning the blue jersey,” Yuvraj wrote in the letter.

Year after year, you’ve improved your level of play in cricket, and you’ve done so much in this amazing game that I’m even more eager to watch your career begin a new chapter. You’ve been a wonderful captain and a fantastic leader. You’ve been an incredible leader and a legendary captain. It will be great to see many more of your famous runs,” he concluded.
