Suryakumar Yadav has jumped ahead in the T20I rankings

Suryakumar Yadav is making remarkable progress in international cricket, as seen by his rise to No. 21 in the 2018 ICC Men’s T20I Rankings for hitters. Venkatesh Iyer made a tremendous improvement in the T20I batting statistics in the most recent rankings, which were released on Wednesday.

While Suryakumar has broken into the top 30, Iyer has jumped 203 ranks to No.115 in the batter’s rankings. Nicholas Pooran, the West Indies’ lone batsman, climbed five spots to No. 13. The left-hander scored 50 in all three T20Is, but his efforts were in vain.

Suryakumar Yadav has been ruled out of India’s next T20I series against Sri Lanka owing to a hairline fracture, which was discovered on Wednesday. Rohit Sharma’s team will also be without Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant, who were rested, and KL Rahul, who is out due to injury.

From February 24 to 27, India will play three Twenty20 matches versus Sri Lanka.
