The mega auction for IPL 2022 will take place on 12th and 13th February in Bangalore. Over 1,214 players 896 Indian and 318 overseas players have been registered for the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Before the mega auction of the IPL 2022, BCCI has announced a complete list of players. IPL 2022 auction over 1214 players have been registered out of which 590 players will be going under the harmer during the auction.
Many Indian star players Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Yuzvendra Chahal Ravi Ashwin are available at a base price of Rs 2 crores. While Ajinkya Rahane and Kuldeep Yadav will be available at Rs 1 crore. Ishant Sharma and Washington Sunder are available at Rs 1.5 Crore. Among them Cheteshwar Pujara, Hanuma Vihari is available for Rs 50 lakhs.
There is also a focus on including international stars in the squad, such as Faf du Plessis, David Warner, Pat Cummins, Kagiso Rabada, Jonny Bairstow Jason Holder, DJ bravo, etc.
Teenage stars who are currently competing in the U19 World Cup in the West Indies will be attracted to the tournament. Among them was South Africa’s Dewald Brevis who scored 590 runs in the U19 World Cup. Dewald Brevis is the top scorer of the U19 World Cup. Dewald Brevis made to the Shortlist and will be at a base price of Rs 20 Lakh.
While India U19 captain Yash Dhull is also part of the IPL 2022 Auction at a base price of Rs 20 Lakh. His teammate Rajvardhan Hangargekar who has shown his ability in the U19 World Cup for the Indian team is available for Rs 30 lakh.
