Virat Kohli and Sarfaraz Khan Shine as India Fights Back

Day 3 of the India vs New Zealand 1st Test in Bengaluru saw a run-fest, with 453 runs scored. India responded strongly to New Zealand’s imposing 356-run lead, set up by Rachin Ravindra’s brilliant century and a counterattacking knock from Tim Southee. The pressure was on after India’s disappointing first innings, which totaled just 46 runs.

Kohli was dismissed for 70 on the day’s final ball, but India ended Day 3 at 231/3 in 49 overs, still trailing New Zealand.
