Uefa Champions League draw for Quarter and Semi finals out
Champions League 2022 draws for quarter and semis has many absorbing contests, best one being defending champions Chelsea FC vs record champions Real Madrid CF.
Liverpool FC who passed a challenging draw with Inter Milan with a 2-1 aggregate scoreline drew SL Benfica. Thanks to a late Darwin Nunez goal,SL Benfica knocked out Ajax to book a spot in the quarter final draw.
They host Liverpool on the 6th of April before their trip to Anfield on the 14th of April for the second leg.
FC Bayern Muchen who thrashed RB Salzburg with a scoreline of 8-2 was drawn with Villarreal CF who pulled of a miraculous performance against Max Allegri’ struggling Juventus side to reach the top 8.
The first leg would be on the 7th of April at the Estadio de la Ceramica, whereas the second leg would be at the Allianz Arena on 13th April.
The winner of the two two legged ties would meet each other in the semi finals.
Record 13 time champions Real Madrid CF were drawn with the defending champions Chelsea FC. The two teams met in the semi finals last year as well. Chelsea FC turned out victorious in the draw with an aggregate scoreline of 3-1. The most exciting round up for the quarter finals.

Manchester City FC won their round of 16 against Sporting CP quite comfortably. Their first leg performance, where they won 5-0 at the Estadio Jose Alvalade meant they could sit back and relax for the second leg. The teams drew 0-0 at the Etihad Stadium.
As for Atletico Madrid, they saw off a heated clash against Manchester City’ arch rivals Manchester United.
