The ICC U-19 World Cup 2022 Final to be played between England U19 and India U19

On Saturday, February 5, India will face England in the final of the ICC 2022 U19 World Cup at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua. Every player on the team is highly talented, and they all want to hold the trophy on Saturday. India Under 19 has reached the Finals for the fourth time in a row. They lost to Bangladesh U19 in the finals of the previous event and will be looking to go one step further in this tournament. While England for the first time in 24 years, England reaches the U19 World Cup final.

The game will take place on February 5th, at 6.30 p.m. IST. The coin toss will take place half an hour before the start of the game. This match will be on the Star Sports Networks in various languages. The match can be watched online via the Disney+Hotstar app.

Road to the Final: India

So far India has been the dominant side in the Under-19 World Cup. India started the tournament by defeating South Africa by 45 runs. The Indian team was hit by the coronavirus. The Indian u19 Captain Yash Dhull Sheikh Rashid, Aaradhya Yadav, Manav Parakh, and Siddharth Yadav were hit by coronavirus as they miss the match against Ireland and Uganda. In the second semi-final, India defeated Australia.

Yash Dhull led the Indian Under-19 team to the final, setting a good example with a century. With his 110-run performance, Yash Dhull became the third India skipper to achieve a century in the Under-19 World Cup, joining Virat Kohli in 2008 and Unmukt Chand in 2012.

Road to the Final: England 

England was in Group A of the U-19 World Cup. The England team has won all three of their group matches. During an extraordinary World Cup semi-final against Afghanistan, England’s Under-19 captain Tom Prest praised his teammates’ character after they collectively held their nerve to earn a place in the final for the first time in 24 years.

The England skipper Tom Prest continued to show his exceptional batsmanship on Thursday, as he helped his side defeat the UAE by scoring an unbeaten 154.
