Tear In ligament Closed The Door To South Africa For Ravindra Jadeja
Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is held back because of his ligament tear. The Indian men’s Cricket team is likely to face the South African men’s cricket team in their own country. Ravindra Jadeja got injured during the first (1st) test against New Zealand which was valued in Kanpur. It is seen that he has injured his right forearm. It got swelling and advised to rest for the next test match.
The South Africa tour is to be commenced from December 26 this year. With the current situation of his injury, it is quite clear that he will not be able to be on the team. Now the matter of concern is will he have to undergo any surgery or not. The surgery will put a hold on this active participation in the Indian Cricket Team for a span of 4 to 5 months. This makes the possibility of him missing out on every series that is going to be played in the coming months. The most possible series that he will appear in might be the Indian Premier League in the year 2022.
This injury is going to cost a lot to the Indian cricket team, as Jadeja is one of the main bowlers for the team. Jadeja is not only the player of the Indian cricket team to get injured during the New Zealand – India series Shubman Gill, Axar Patel, and Ishant Sharma is also injured. All these injured players were part of a successful team it will take some time for the players to replace them in the team to pick up the pace.
It is going to be very tough for the captain and coach to plan a strategy to win the series as they are missing out on two important bowlers and a batsman. There is no proper declaration of the team and the role of the players in the team, it would be interesting to see the new set of young players emerge to be the future of Indian cricket and as of the Indian cricket team.
