Team India coach Rahul Dravid came to the rescue of Virat Kohli, said – there is no one like him
IND vs ENG : Virat Kohli is on target due to poor form. But Dravid has defended the former captain and explained why he is important for the team.
IND vs ENG : A very important Test match between India and England is going to start at Edgbaston, Birmingham from July 1. Before the start of this test, Virat Kohli’s not being able to score a century in international cricket for almost three years remains a big question. However, Team India coach Rahul Dravid has defended Virat Kohli. Rahul Dravid says that there is no other like Virat Kohli.
Dravid said, “I have not met any player till date who works so hard and is dedicating himself so much to the game. Most of the time, the measure of one’s success is considered to be a century. But it is important to see how much a player is contributing to the team’s victory.”
Dravid also does not agree that due to ageing, Virat Kohli is not able to perform like before. Rahul Dravid believes that Virat Kohli is doing well during the practice session and there is no flaw in his technique.
Virat’s record is good at Edgbaston
Let us tell you that when India toured England last year, the captaincy of the team was with Virat Kohli. But after the defeat on the South Africa tour, Virat Kohli left the captaincy. Apart from this, Virat Kohli has not been able to score a century in international cricket since November 2019.
However, Virat Kohli’s record at Edgbaston has been good. On this ground, Virat Kohli scored a century in that match when no other Indian batsman could even score a half-century.
