BCCI President Stable Now

“On the second day of admission, Sourav Gangly, BCCI President and former Indian cricket captain, remains hemodynamically stable, afebrile, and maintaining oxygen saturation of 99% on room air.”

“He slept well last night and has had breakfast and lunch,” Dr. Rupali Basu, MD & CEO of Woodlands Hospital, said in a report.

The 49-year-old BCCI president had received “Monoclonal Antibody Cocktail therapy” on Monday night. Ganguly, who is double vaccinated, was admitted to the hospital on late Monday evening, and a report from the hospital stated that the former cricketer was in stable shape.

The medical board is maintaining a tight eye on his health status, the report read. Ganguly tested positive for the virus on Monday night after which he was admitted to the hospital. Early this year his brother Snehasish Ganguly was also tested positive for COVID.

Ganguly was admitted to a hospital twice this year and he also underwent emergency angioplasty after having cardiac problems.
