Shane Warne postmortem reveals that he died of natural causes: Thai Police

In a report released Monday, the Thai police reported that cricket legend Shane Warne had died naturally. After being discovered unconscious in a posh house in Koh Samui, the Australian leg-spinner died on Friday. According to Krissana Pattanacharoen, deputy national police spokeswoman, investigators received an autopsy report today, concluding that the death was caused by natural causes.

The investigation will be completed as quickly as possible, and the autopsy reports will be delivered to the prosecutor, Krissana explained.

Prime leaders, rock singers, and other athletes expressed their sorrow following Warne’s sudden death at the age of 52.

The player, who is considered as one of the greatest Test cricketers of all time, was discovered unresponsive in a Samujana resort house on Friday after failing to meet friends.

Warne was rushed to the Thai International Hospital Samui at 6:00 p.m. (1100 GMT), but despite medical efforts, his management stated that “he could not be revived.”

According to authorities, his corpse would be transferred to Bangkok and handed over to the Australian ambassadors for repatriation.
