Birthday wishes poured in for India’s star wicketkeeper-batter, Rishabh Pant, as he turned 27 on Friday. Born on October 4, 1997, Pant recently helped India win a 2-0 Test series against Bangladesh. This was his first Test match after almost two years away from the game. In December 2022, Pant was in a serious car accident and suffered multiple injuries, leading to doubts about his return.
However, Pant made an impressive recovery earlier this year, playing in the IPL and later helping India win the T20 World Cup in June. On his birthday, former cricketer Yuvraj Singh sent a special message, praising Pant’s incredible comeback.
“Happy birthday to the comeback king. @RishabhPant17 Work hard and stay your fearless self! Hope the year ahead is one of fulfillment. God bless always,” Yuvraj posted on X.
