Ranji Trophy – Jagadeesan & Sai Sudharshan Reset the bar for them!

Ranji Trophy – Jagadeesan & Sai Sudharshan Reset the bar for them! : When necessary, the TN openers coupled excellent stroke selection with stout defense, never allowing the bowlers to gain the upper hand.

At the conclusion of play on the second day of the four-day Ranji Trophy championship at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in this city, Tamil Nadu opener N. Jagadeesan continued his brilliant season-long run by scoring a brilliant century.

Putting on an unbroken 203-run stand with an equally effective opening partner B. Sai Sudharsan against Hyderabad.

Hyderabad was up against a highly determined opening pair in Sudharsan and Jagadeesan if it expected it could dictate terms, though. By the end of play, the first 10 overs had produced 65 runs, suggesting that the two batted as though they had a limited-overs target. This duo hits shots like as if they were playing in a T20 match.

The home team’s bowling clearly appeared inept as the innings went on. When bowling to the right-handed Jagdeesan, pacer Karthikeya Kak appeared better, pushing the ball away, but he struggled against the southpaw Sudharsan.

Vijay Hazare Achievements:

This duo had already performed extraordinarily in the recent Vijay Hazare Trpohy and had set World Record for their impeccable performances both individually and together.

By smashing a 141-ball 277 against Arunachal Pradesh in the Vijay Hazare Trophy on Monday, Tamil Nadu batsman Narayan Jagadeesan broke the record for the highest individual score in men’s List A cricket.

The largest victory margin in a List A match was 435 runs, which Tamil Nadu achieved in the Group C encounter. The previous mark was Devon’s 346-run victory over Somerset in 1990. The pair has established partnerships of 416, 151, 276, 233, and 177 throughout Tamil Nadu’s last five contests.

A Tamil Nadu pair in top form and this season, the duo has been in outstanding shape.
