Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc were back to their best as Pakistan lost 5 wickets for cheap.
The middle order and tail enders succumbed to the pace and swing of the Australian fast bowlers to hand them a lead of 123 runs.
Pat Cummins had been at his best since the start of the innings and deservedly got a five fer to show for.
Mitchell Starc also got the ball to nip back off the surface. We all know what happens when Starcy comes round the wicket with the ball reversing, don’t we?
A peach of a delivery to get last match’ centurion Mohammad Rizwan.
The left arm quick ended up with 4/33 in 20 overs. A top performance by the pacers to give Australia the control.
But in the previous test too, Australia failed to win after gaining control of the match. They were frustrated by some gritty batting from the home side. Babar Azam led from the front to help his team to a draw. The skipper got out 4 runs short of a deserved double ton.

With Australia having to bat again, it will be interesting to see when Pat Cummins decides to declare.
Day 4
Usman Khawaja continued his red hot form as he scored a century in the second innings.
David Warner scored a 50, having been dismissed relatively early by Shaheen Afridi.
The two together put up a 96 run partnership, before David Warner fell to Shaheen Afridi again.
Marnus Labuschagne along with Usman Khawaja took the score past 160, before the latter succumbed to Nauman Ali.
Usman Khawaja though, went on to score another great 100, his 2nd century of the test series.
Steve Smith then became the fastest player to score 8,000 runs in test cricket.
After he was dismissed, Pat Cummins decided to declare and put a target of 350 runs.
In reply, Pakistan openers saw off the first session, amassing 73 runs before the end of days play.
The test match can end in all 3 possibilities but, Pat Cummins and co would want to give their best to win the series.
