Paras Mhambrey and Lasith Malinga are set to form a lethal duo for Mumbai Indians once again. Mhambrey, who played a crucial role as India’s former Bowling Coach in developing one of the world’s most formidable pace attacks, rejoined the Mumbai Indians setup after being part of the 2024 T20 World Cup-winning coaching staff. Mhambrey will work alongside current Bowling Coach Lasith Malinga, under the guidance of Head Coach Mahela Jayawardene, as they aim to continue Mumbai’s legacy of success.
Having previously been part of the Mumbai Indians coaching staff, Mhambrey has already tasted glory with multiple IPL and Champions League T20 titles. His rich experience as a former right-arm medium pacer who debuted for India during their 1996 tour of England and his domestic success with Mumbai make him a valuable asset to the franchise. His past contributions to the team and close work with the players will bring familiarity and excitement as he returns to the Blue and Gold!
