Pakistani Former Cricketer is not happy with Pant’s record century, said – he did not do any ‘charisma’

Mohammad Asif said, ‘Pant has not done any charisma, it was completely the fault of the England bowlers.

Mohammad Asif : In the video shared on Twitter, Mohammad Asif said, ‘Pant has not done any charisma, it is completely the fault of the English bowlers. His left hand doesn’t work but still he scores a century because the English bowlers didn’t bowl the ball which is their week point.

Pant is known for his aggressive style of play and unconventional shots even under pressure. In this match being played at Edgbaston ground, Pant faced 111 balls with the help of 19 fours and 4 sixes and scored 146 runs and shared 222 runs with Jadeja to get the team out of difficult situations.

At present, if we talk about the best wicketkeeper batters in Test cricket, then the name of Rishabh Pant definitely comes. Pant is often known to play better under pressure conditions and he has proved it once again by scoring 146 runs in the Test match being played at Birmingham ground. During this century, Pant played many wonderful shots and made a flurry of records by completing a century in just 89 balls.

Pant’s hand does not work, yet scored a century

While Pant’s century has won the hearts of legendary players around the world, former Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Asif has criticized this batter and blamed the English bowlers for not being able to challenge the Indian batters.

In the video shared on Twitter, Mohammad Asif said, ‘Pant has not done any charisma, it is completely the fault of the English bowlers. His left hand doesn’t work but still he scores a century because the English bowlers didn’t bowl the ball which is their week point.

England took many wrong decisions

It is noteworthy that Pant had adopted a very aggressive form against Jack Leach, due to which this English spinner conceded 71 runs in 9 overs without taking any wicket. Pant had hit 2 fours and 2 sixes in his last over.

Talking further, Asif said, ‘I will not name any one bowler, but I will definitely say that the England team has made a lot of mistakes. When Jadeja and Pant were batting, they brought a left-arm spinner which was not the right option at that time. I am not against Pant but the way the opposition took decisions helped him play big innings.

Questions raised again on Kohli’s technique

Mohammad Asif had also raised questions about the batting technique of former Indian captain Virat Kohli in the year 2021 and when once again Kohli’s bat did not get runs, he again reminded him of his point.

Asif said, ‘I had told about Kohli’s technical mistakes a few years ago, but then people raised questions on me. Today more than 950 days have passed and he has not been able to score a century. I love watching Kohli and he is a much bigger player than me but technically he needs to do more work.
