‘We’ll conquer this’- says Nita Ambani in an Instagram video Encouraging players to believe in themselves.
IPL 2022: Nita Ambani posted a video on social media, where she has reassured MI fans after consecutive losses in each of their 4 matches this season.
That season, they got their first win against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. They qualified for the playoffs and finished fourth that season with 14 points.
MI lost their first four games in IPL 2015 as well, and ended up lifting the trophy, beating Chennai Super Kings in the final.
MI captain Rohit Sharma said that the loss against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Saturday was a tough pill to swallow. Mumbai Indians, in the meantime, posted a video on Instagram in which franchise owner Mrs. Nita Ambani sent an encouraging message to the MI players and asked them to chin up.
“I have full faith and belief in all of you all and I’m sure we’ll pull through. Now, we’re only going to be onwards and upwards. We need to believe in ourselves that we’re going to conquer this,” Nita Ambani said.
“We’ve been through this many times before, and then gone ahead and won the cup. So, I have full trust and belief that you stick to each other. If you’re by each other, we’ll conquer this. And I will meet you on the other side.Till then, my full support to you all in whatever you want. Please keep faith in each other, keep faith in yourself, keep believing. And Mumbai Indians are always there to support you,” Nita Ambani added.
This season is quite different from the rest as 2 new teams are added and they have started their campaign on a very high note, competition has increased so Mumbai have to come up with their best plan to turn the table.
In the next match MI will go against Mayank Agarwal’s Punjab Kings on Wednesday, April 13 at the MCA Stadium in Pune.
