Neeraj Chopra breaks national record, bags silver medal
Diamond League: Not only did Neeraj Chopra break the national record once again, he also ranked 2nd.
Olympic Gold medalist Neeraj Chopra was at his very best once again, as he went on to bag a second placed finish in Stockholm.
The Diamond league runner up threw an 89.94m throw, a national record.
This was a meagre 37cm less than the throw 90.31m throw of Anderson Peters, who clinched the Gold.
Another memorable outing for the star Indian Javelin thrower. He also bagged a silver in the Paavo Nurmi Games, that took place in Finland.
These performances will be a timely boost for Neeraj ahead of the Commonwealth games commencing next month in Birmingham.
