MS Dhoni starts preparations for CSK’s Season-Opener with KKR
Captain MS Dhoni has begun preparing for Chennai Super Kings’ season opener on March 26 against the Kolkata Knight Riders. CSK are the current IPL champions, having defeated KKR in the final in 2021 to win their fourth title.
Since the start of the IPL, CSK has been linked with MS Dhoni. He is one of the most successful captains in the IPL, and CSK is one of the most consistent and successful teams in the competition. Except for IPL 2020, the squad has made the playoffs every season.
MS Dhoni begins a new training season in Surat. Before taking off, CSK’s official Twitter account posted a snapshot of MS Dhoni smiling and waving to the audience.
There will be 10 teams in the IPL 2022, with two new franchises joining the competition. The Gujarat Titans and the Lucknow Supergiants are making their IPL debuts. KL Rahul will serve as the captain of Lucknow, while Hardik Pandya will serve as the captain of Gujarat.
