Legends League Cricket 2022 Starts Today

The inaugural edition of Legends League Cricket (LLC) will start from January 20 in Al Amerat in Oman with more than 30 superstar cricketers from the past being part of the action. As many as 7 T20Is will be played over a period of 9 days in Oman as three teams will battle it out for the top prize. Like the Road Safety World Series was catching the attention of the fans, the Legends League Cricket will be looking to become a household name. Former India captain and head coach Ravi Shastri was as the Commissioner of the league which will have former cricket stars in action.

While Former India opener Virender Sehwag has been named the captain of India Maharaja. Sehwag who led teams like Delhi Daredevils and Kings Xi Punjab in the Indian Premier League (IPL) has been appointed the captain. His experience will help India Maharajas to give their best in the LLC T20 league. Indian Maharaja has also appointed John Buchanan as a coach.
Former Pakistani batsman and captain Misbah Ul Haq has been appointed the captain of the Asian Lions team in LLC T20. The Asian Lions look a very strong side as it is a mixture of Bangladesh Pakistan Sri Lanka are part of Asian Lions. Asian Lions has appointed Dilshan as the vice-captain. Arjuna Ranatunga has been appointed the coach of the side. Former Caribbean skipper Darren Sammy will be leading the World Giants team Sammy was the captain of the St. Lucia Zouk’s team in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) – the domestic T20 league in the Caribbean. South Africa batsman Jonty Rhodes will be the player and Mentor for the World Giants side.
