Jamie Delgado To Part His Way From Andy Murray
Jamie Delgado long-term coach of British Tennis player Andy Murray is parting their way before 2022. Jamie Delgado was with Andy Murray since 2016 and became the main coach in 2017 after the departure of the then coach of Andy Murray Ivan Lendl. After he became the main coach the career graph of Andy Murray has seen drastic shifts.
Andy Murray was not in action for a period of time because of his hip injury. In spite of returning back to the action with the ATP tour, he fell quite behind in the rank. The British Tennis Player had undergone surgeries twice before returning back to the tennis court.
Delgado is going to work with a younger player hailing from Canada, currently ranking 14th in the world ranking Denis Shapovalov who is just 22 years old. This young player had already shown the sign of emerging as a champion, in the past, Denis Shapovalov has defeated Andy Murray in the third round at Wimbledon earlier this year.
After parting their ways Andy Murray is likely to get along with Jan De Witt a German coach, who was associated with Gael Monfils, Gilles Simon, and Nikoloz Basilashvili in past. They are collaborating for the upcoming World Tennis championship going to be held in Abu Dhabi in 2022.
In addition to De Witt, Andy Murray is also getting help from British tennis player Emm Raducanu, who is a champion in US Open, for preparing himself for the upcoming event. Murray is even getting additional support from Esteban Carril who also trained and coached Johanna Konta. But Esteban Carril is not going to be a part of the team of Andy Murray in future.
