Warne and McGrath took a total of 1001 wickets in Test cricket while playing together.
It is the first pair of two pure fast bowlers to reach this milestone. The Sri Lankan pair of Muttiah Muralitharan and Chaminda Vaas is at number three in the list of highest wicket-takers playing together. Together they took a total of 895 Test wickets.
