Odean Smith bounced back from the nightmare of a match last time out as he picked up 4/30 against MI.
So close but still not enough for MI as they lose, again.
MI now play an in-form Lucknow Super Giants on 16th April. Punjab Kings on the other hand, back in form Sunrisers Hyderabad on 17th April.
A loss but not without positives for MI. Biggest positive being the destructive batting by teenager Dewald Brevis. The youngster fell 1 run short off becoming the youngest foreigner to score a 50. The innings included 4 maximum’s in a row vs former MI player Rahul Chahar.
Punjab Kings skipper Mayank Agarwal was adjudged the player of the match. He scored a quick fire half century and contributed in the field as well. This win helps PBKS jump to the third position.
