How are Mumbai Indians going to tackle bio bubble fatigue?
Mumbai Indians have created a bio-secure MI Arena for the players, coaching staff, families and support staff. This will form part of the bio – secure bubble.
The MI Arena has been created at the Jio World Garden, Mumbai.
It is a 13,000 sq metre area that has many facilities for both – the teams as well as individuals.
The arena also consists of a PickleBall court, Box Cricket, foot volleyball, futsal ground, golf driving range, MI Battleground, MI Cafe and a kids zone.
The IPL franchise released a statement saying “the facility will help the team in bonding and it will also help the cricketers “relax and have a balanced life”.
This is an amazing initiative taken by the record IPL winners as many players in the past have complained regarding “bio-bubble fatigue”.
A MI spokesperson also said that “MI Arena has been created to allow the team to connect and get to know each other better through the season, but also un-wind and relax. The past 2 years has thrown up so many unique challenges but we are “One Family” and it is MI’s priority and responsibility to keep everyone safe and happy”.
This is to keep the players fresh as well as help keep them safe from the looming danger of Covid 19.
MI take to the field on 27th March when they face Delhi Capitals at the Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai.
