IPL 2022: Hardik Pandya and others train in the Gujarat Giants camp
Gujarat Giants captain and All-rounder Hardik Pandya has started training alongside his new IPL team players as the Gujarat Giants kick off their training camp in Ahmedabad. Pandya has been seen training with team players Abhinav Manohar, Darshan Nalkande and are under observation by the Gujarat Giants head coach Ashish Nehra as well. All the players are being put to test as they gear up for the upcoming 15th edition of the Indian Premier League starting from 26th March.
A source close told to the team had confirmed about the team’s training sessions as it said “Hardik Pandya, Abhinav Manohar, Darshan Nalkande, Varun Aaron are currently training at the IPCL ground in Baroda. The camp kickstarted on February 25 and it will conclude on March 2. The preparation camp for the entire team is most likely to be held in Ahmedabad,”
Gujarat Giants will be looking to start their maiden IPL season in some fashion and have a good job in the recent mega auction as well. They have acquired some brilliant talent in the name of Mohammad Shami, Jason Roy, and Lockie Ferguson who will bring their skills and experience on to the pitch to help the team perform well. It’s a mixture of experienced and young players including the likes of Rahul Tewatia, Vijay Shankar, David Miller, Wriddhiman Saha as well.
Hardik Pandya and co will be looking forward to putting their best step forward as India’s domestic cricket league is all set to kick off in March.
