GT vs RR, IPL 2022 Final: Gujarat Titans win the IPL 2022 in their maiden season.
Gujarat Titans have done it… Not being expert’s favourites before the start, were rated as the weakest team on paper. Tonight they’ve beaten all the odds and grabbed the IPL trophy.
Hardik Pandya lifts the Tata IPL 2022 trophy. A proper team effort and a deserving tournament win for the Gujarat based franchise.

Spare a thought for Rajasthan Royals, who have had a great IPL season as well. RR has both, the orange cap and the purple cap winner in Buttler and Chahal.
Shubman Gill finished off the innings in style, with a big six off Obed McCoy.
Chasing a small target of 131, GT did lose a couple of early wickets but Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya and David Miller took GT over the line with 7 wickets in hand and 11 balls to spare.
Gujarat have been in top form throughout the season and have deservedly won the Title.
Just like Rajasthan Royals, Gujarat Titans have won the IPL in their maiden season. Celebrations all around the Narendra Modi Stadium as GT win at home turf.

The Englishman is now on 824 runs, 24 short off the 2nd highest runs scored by a batsman in a season.
Jos Buttler showed us why he has been the best batsman in Tata IPL 2022, as he went on to score a magnificent century, his 4th of the campaign.
But, RR had a second bite in the cherry and they showed why they are serious title challengers, comfortably beating RCB in qualifier 2.
